Born in Paris, France in 1979, I have been painting since 1998. As a self-taught artist, I have exhibited in galleries across the United States, Europe, and Latin America, and I am currently based in Paris.
Since 2010, my work has become increasingly political, evolving through my own awakening and the changing events around me.
After living in Uruguay and Mexico, I returned to France in 2015, where I witnessed the steady deterioration of the economic and political situation. The imbalances in my personal life and in the system we live under led me to begin a body of work titled Off Balance, depicting people either on the brink of falling or clearly falling down. I began painting pyramids of people—sometimes to represent solidarity, most of the time to illustrate the social / oligarchic class warfare being waged against us.The Covid lunacy followed by the folly of Western postures toward Russia made me realize that this warfare had radicalized, revealing its totalitarian nature, supported by a suicidal tendency. This led me to create the COV-Insanity and Western Suicide series. More recently, I have sought to empower myself by painting my revolutionary fantasies—perhaps because I am French after all, or perhaps because I no longer see any other solution to free ourselves from destruction.
